Simple steps to protect your boat

1) Dry interior: Take out everything out of the boat such as towels, any gear, vest or equipment. Wipe and clean interior and any wet areas.

2) Open interior: open up any cushions, and completely pull off and set them up side ways. Cushions can be left in the boat or if you have a spot in your garage that's another option too. This helps to dry up any moisture that can build up and cause damage to your interior.

3) Snap carpet: if you have a snap carpet you can pull it off, clean wet areas as it may have moisture water.

4) Ballast tanks and bags: Make sure they're completely empty. If you can pull them out hang them to make sure they completely dry.

5) Drain plugs: Make sure drain plugs are popped out for water that's in bilge of the boat can drain out and dry.

Overall you want to make sure your boat is dry in all areas so there's no damage nor build up that can cause problems when getting ready to take out the boat.
